Mike Tinworth

Mike has over thirty years experience in information technology systems design, development, implementation and support. He has held practice management and principal consultant positions with multinationals such as Oracle and was responsible for the setup and growth of an Asian-based independent consultancy practice that was acquired by an American conglomerate in 1999.

Mike has lived in Hong Kong since 1978 and has conducted many consulting assignments throughout the Asia Pacific region. Mike has been involved in every aspect of the IT system usage lifecycle, from requirements specification to operational support, and has extensive cross-industry experience.

Simon Maclean FCSI

Simon is a Fellow of The Securities Institute (FCSI) and a Member of Hong Kong Securities Institute (MHKSI).

Simon is a highly motivated problem solver with a wealth of experience in business growth, business transformation and change within capital markets.   He is a well known veteran of the Financial Services sector having had hands on experience of implementing global strategy, business change and a variety of projects over a 34 year career spent working within major institutions such as Grieveson Grant & Co, Kleinwort Benson, Dresdner Bank, Bank of Bermuda and HSBC.  He has extensive front office, IT and operations experience and has managed teams in excess of 100 people with multi-million dollar budgets. He is a firm believer in collaborative team work and open and honest ethics.

Simon is the founder of Superior Solutions and enjoys bringing his considerable experience gained in corporate life to a variety of organisations on an independent basis.

Amanda Tann B.Soc.Sc

Amanda is a graduate of The University of Hong Kong where she achieved a First Class Honours degree in Social Sciences with a Major in Psychology.

Amanda has spent more than 25 years living and working in variety of countries around the region including Qatar, Dubai, Pakistan, and Hong Kong and has gained a wealth of knowledge and understanding of cultural diversity.

Amanda enjoys the challenge of working in a range of very different business environments.  She brings a fresh approach to the Financial Services sector and uses her considerable knowledge of psychology to help provide the necessary framework to drive through business transformation.

John Macpherson

John has over 20 years experience delivering business change and technology projects in the Financial Services sector in Asia and Europe. He is a strong IT Strategist and Architect, Programme/Project Manager and Consultant.

He has consulted and worked with a number of prestigious financial services organisations and has a thorough understanding of business operations and management, and in-depth experience of process improvement, outsourcing, and a broad range of technology-related projects. He is highly execution and implementation focused, emphasising strong governance, reduced risk, and cohesive teams, in order to deliver significant business benefits early and exceed user expectations.

Vicko Chu

Vicko is an experienced IT Services Manager and works as both an IT consultant and a Systems Integrator. For more than 20 years Vicko has been providing software development, hardware sales and technical support to SME clients in Hong Kong.

Vicko and his network of IT support technicians mainly support Microsoft Windows and the Mac OS X as a cross-platform networking solution. For more than a decade they have provided outsourced IT services to local branch offices of multi-national financial institutions and corporations including the Associated Press, Coles Group, Dexion (HK) Ltd., International Monetary Fund, Saga Furs, Shimizu Corp, Thomson Reuters, HK Polytechnic University, Manchester Business School Worldwide, HK Science & Technology Parks and many more.

Vicko manages our local technical support services which may be accessed on an hourly rate callout basis or we will quote for an annual support contract if required.
